About Sentio Experiences

A deeper way to experience Egypt

Sentio Experiences creates personalised journeys through Egypt, combining adventure, carefully chosen stays and the freedom to take your time. From exploring Siwa’s dunes to spending a day on a private yacht in the Red Sea, we design trips that give you a sense of the country beyond its familiar images.

Our Spanish–Egyptian company draws on more than thirty years of experience in tourism and transportation. That knowledge, together with established relationships across Egypt, shapes every journey we arrange: the guides who bring a place to life, the accommodation we recommend and the practical details that make travelling feel effortless.

For us, slow travel means giving each experience enough time. An adventurous day can be followed by an unhurried morning; a visit to a great monument can leave space for lunch somewhere local and an afternoon with no fixed plans. We choose routes and timings thoughtfully, avoiding tourist traps and working around crowds wherever possible.

Our idea of premium travel is personal: comfort where it matters to you, people who know their destination deeply and arrangements you can rely on. Every itinerary takes shape around your interests, with our team looking after the details before you arrive and throughout your stay.

What we believe

Three things that
shape every journey

Thoughtfully timed visits
01

Thoughtfully timed visits

We plan visits around quieter periods where possible, working within opening hours and local conditions. We seek out worthwhile experiences and avoid stops designed simply for tourists.

Real people, real places
02

Real people, real places

Local guides who live the culture, family-run stays, food that isn't on the tourist menu. Travel that connects you to the country, not a curated bubble of it.

Time to actually feel it
03

Time to actually feel it

We build in space to breathe — sunsets you don't rush, mornings with nowhere to be. The moments that change you happen in the gaps, so we protect them.

What travellers take home

Katrin and David on the Red Sea shore during their honeymoon
Katrin & David · Egypt

★★★★★

After all the excitement and nerves of our wedding, our honeymoon in Nuweiba was exactly what we needed. Staying in an ecolodge gave us the chance to slow down and enjoy some quiet time together.

We loved hiking in the surrounding landscape and snorkelling in the Red Sea. It was a lovely balance of exploring and simply unwinding, with plenty of time to enjoy being outdoors.

We came home feeling relaxed and so glad we had chosen this way to spend our honeymoon.

We loved how much variety there was in this trip. Cairo was full of energy and history, while the Nile cruise gave us a completely different pace and some of our favourite moments of the whole journey.

The hot-air balloon ride was unforgettable, and spending time cruising along the Nile was incredibly peaceful. Finishing the trip by the Red Sea was perfect — we could finally slow down, relax and enjoy a few quiet days at the resort before heading home.

It felt like we experienced so many different sides of Egypt in one trip, without it ever feeling rushed.

Elena and Marc beside a salt pool in Siwa
Elena & Marc · Egypt

We’ve taken plenty of ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ trips, but this one felt different. The pyramids at sunrise were obviously impressive, but what really stayed with us was the journey to Siwa — hours of empty landscape giving way to that green oasis. Sleeping under the stars near the salt lakes, then floating in the Red Sea in El Gouna three days later, felt like being in two completely different countries. Our guide Ahmed organised everything perfectly. Worth every euro.

Siwa is the reason to book this trip. I’d never heard of it before Sentio recommended it, and now I can’t stop telling everyone about it: the hot springs at sunset, the mud-brick ruins of Shali. Cairo was a great introduction — the guide at the Egyptian Museum was excellent — and finishing in El Gouna was the perfect way to unwind: peaceful lagoons, good food and no stress.

Travelling with two teenagers is never simple, but this itinerary kept everyone entertained. The kids are still talking about sandboarding near Siwa and swimming in the salt lakes. Cairo’s markets were chaotic in the best possible way. El Gouna gave us the beach break we needed after so much time on the road. You can tell Sentio knows how to put together a trip that’s more than just pyramids and a resort.

The camp felt authentic, rather than staged for tourists — Bedouin hosts, real conversations and food cooked over the fire. My husband, who isn’t usually keen on camping, enjoyed every second. Cairo rounded off the trip perfectly with the pyramids and a felucca ride on the Nile. Highly recommended for couples looking for something quieter than the usual route.

Familia Torres · Red Sea

An ideal trip for combining culture with a proper beach holiday. Cairo covered the pyramids, the Egyptian Museum and a dinner cruise on the Nile — more than enough to fascinate the children. Then Sharm gave us five days of diving and relaxation that felt like a completely different trip. The snorkelling excursion to Ras Mohammed National Park was everyone’s highlight. The logistics between the two cities were seamless.

Cairo was intense in the best way — dense, historic, and honestly just the perfect amount of time to take it all in without feeling rushed. But Sharm was the real highlight for us, especially the day out on the yacht — calm water, incredible snorkeling stops, and just relaxing on deck with a drink in hand. You could tell the transfers and hotel choice were actually thought through rather than default picks. Such a well-balanced first trip to Egypt.
