The Cairo & Red Sea Experience combines Egypt’s ancient history with the Red Sea and the landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula.

Begin in Cairo, where the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, Coptic heritage and historic neighbourhoods reveal the city’s many layers. Then fly to Sharm El Sheikh for four nights of marine exploration, private yachting and a 4×4 journey into the Sinai Desert.

This privately arranged journey balances cultural discovery and light adventure with comfortable stays and time to relax.

Day 1: Welcome to Cairo

Airport welcome and private transfer to either a Pyramid-view villa or five-star Nile hotel. Settle in and recover from the flight before a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Nile

Visit the Giza Plateau and Great Sphinx with a private guide. Optional pyramid interior entry can be arranged subject to availability and opening conditions.

Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Return to the accommodation to refresh, then enjoy dinner at a selected Cairo restaurant and finish the evening with a private nighttime felucca on the Nile.

Day 3: Saqqara, Old Cairo and Khan el-Khalili

Guests staying near the Pyramids can begin with an early visit to Saqqara and the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Guests staying beside the Nile can add Saqqara with an earlier departure or begin the day in central Cairo.

Continue to Old Cairo and the Coptic Quarter, including landmarks such as the Hanging Church and the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus.

After time to rest, visit Khan el-Khalili in the evening for its historic streets, shops, cafés and atmosphere after dark.

The exact programme may be adjusted around your accommodation, preferred pace and local opening times.

Day 4: Fly to Sharm El Sheikh

Private transfer to Cairo Airport and flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer to the selected private villa or five-star resort.

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon beside the sea or pool. Depending on the flight time, optional snorkelling or an introductory freediving experience can be arranged.

Visit Farsha Mountain Lounge in the evening.

Day 5: Ras Mohammed National Park

Privately arranged day exploring Ras Mohammed National Park with experienced local guides.

Explore protected coral reefs with guided snorkelling, clear water, remote coastal landscapes and time to relax. The park is known for its marine biodiversity, but sightings of particular species cannot be guaranteed.

Day 6: Private Red Sea Yacht

Full day aboard a private yacht with captain and crew.

Cruise between coral reefs, secluded swimming areas and remote coastal locations. Swim, snorkel, sunbathe and enjoy lunch onboard. End with music, drinks and golden-hour views before returning to Sharm.

Day 7: Sinai Desert Exploration by 4×4

Private 4×4 journey through Sinai’s mountain passes, open valleys and desert landscapes.

Enjoy panoramic viewpoints, optional short walks, Bedouin tea and local hospitality, followed by sunset and a freshly prepared desert meal. Return to the Sharm accommodation after stargazing.

Day 8: Final Morning in Sharm

Relaxed final morning with breakfast, swimming or time beside the Red Sea.

The trip ends in Sharm El Sheikh. Your private transfer takes you to Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. Travellers needing to return to Cairo can add a domestic flight and onward airport assistance.

Is this a private trip?

Yes. The journey is designed for your own party, with private arrangements as set out in your proposal.

Do I need experience in the water?

No previous snorkelling, freediving or desert experience is required. Tell us how comfortable you are in the water so we can select suitable activities and instruction. Optional freediving is arranged separately.

Is Saqqara included?

Saqqara is included when agreed in your selected programme. Staying near Giza makes an early visit easier; from a Nile hotel, we can allow an earlier departure or begin in central Cairo.

Where does the trip finish?

The journey ends in Sharm El Sheikh with a private airport transfer. A return flight to Cairo and onward airport assistance can be added.

Are wildlife sightings guaranteed?

No. Marine life varies, and boat routes depend on sea conditions and park access. We do not promise encounters with particular animals.

Cairo was intense in the best way — dense, historic, and honestly just the perfect amount of time to take it all in without feeling rushed. But Sharm was the real highlight for us, especially the day out on the yacht — calm water, incredible snorkeling stops, and just relaxing on deck with a drink in hand. You could tell the transfers and hotel choice were actually thought through rather than default picks. Such a well-balanced first trip to Egypt.
